What to Wear

Here at Dupage Dance we strive to provide the most comfortable experience available all the way from newcomers to advanced dancers.  Whether you are a social or competitive dancer, our instruction can provide you with years of entertainment, fitness and fascination.  This being said, one of the first step into learning is proper attire.  Casual attire is welcome, all the way to business formal. What we consider most important is shoes.  We ask that you please wear either a hard rubber, or leather bottom shoe.  One that does not mark, has some slide and that stays in place on your foot.  If you are interested in purchasing shoes, our staff would be glad to help you pick a style and are knowledgeable about different types and styles.  Please feel free to also contact the company below for a local connection to children and adult dance attire and shoes.

*Special Winter Notice*

Due to the season of snow and salt, we ask all of our students to please bring a second pair of shoes or socks to use for lessons. Our beautiful floors do not fare well with water and salt damage. You will be asked to remove your shoes if they are wet.  Our apologies and thanks ahead of time for your cooperation.
